BMW F 900 R imparts its motor to the F 900 XR. Both bike get a 895 cc equal twin motor which is basically an exhausted out variant of the 853 cc equal twin that performs responsibility on the BMW F 850 GS and the F 750 GS. On the F 900 territory, it has a greater 86 mm bore, with stroke continuing as before at 77 mm.
The engine puts out 105 bhp at 8,500 rpm, with top torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The new motor has two balancer shafts to hold vibrations within proper limits and it is a heap bearing part too.
The two cruisers do the 0-100 kmph run in 3.6 seconds and 3.7 seconds separately. The two models have a top speed of more than 200 kmph.
The F 900 R is a bare roadster which will bolt horns with any semblance of the Triumph Street Triple RS, Ducati Monster 821 and the KTM 790 Duke.
The F 900 XR is an experience sport tourer which will go facing any semblance of the Ducati Multistrada 950 and the Tiger 900 GT run in India.
We expect the costs of the BMW F 900 R to begin at ₹ 10.5 lakh or somewhere in the vicinity while costs of the BMW F 900 XR could begin at ₹ 11.5-12 lakh or something like that.
